It is our pleasure to invite you to a celebration of the Genetics Society on our Anniversary Day 25th June, to be held in the Department of Genetics at the University of Cambridge.
We will hear presentations from Prof. Josephine Pemberton, recipient of the Genetics Society Medal, Prof. Kathy Niakan, recipient of the Mary Lyon Medal, and Prof. Gregory Radick, who will deliver the Haldane lecture. We will also hear research talks from two graduate students, Rosie Parkin and Eldrian Tho, who were previously supported by Genetics Society Summer Studentships.
Finally, as 2025 is the anniversary of Sanger sequencing, and completion of the first draft human genome, we will hear from Prof. Richard Durbin who will give a presentation on his genomics research.
Anniversary Day will be is free to attend and open to all, and we very much hope to see you there.
